Proud of the way our vehicles are assembled, of course. But more importantly, we’re proud of our decades of leadership in the truck market. Our trucks are tough, versatile, and able to respond when work or family demands it.
But not every truck is right for everyone. We know that the small family won’t need tens of thousands of pounds of towing capacity most of the time. On the other hand, some drivers like to take advantage of the cargo space but are concerned about fuel economy.
So Ford has invented trucks that meet all needs. To make the right choice, however, you need to know what each truck is capable of. So, which Ford truck is right for you?
This is the all-around champion. It’s the best-selling pickup truck in North America, and even tops the all-truck charts. The Ford F-150 offers enough versions to please everyone and meet the needs of the most demanding.
Its dimensions allow it to be both urban and rural. Its different cab and box sizes allow it to accommodate personnel on the job site or the family on a hike. Its engines are economical and can offer more than 450-horsepower when you turn to the Raptor.
It’s also the one with the most innovation. It’s available with a hybrid powerplant in PowerBoost, can tow up to 13,900 pounds if properly equipped, and relies on aluminum construction to combat corrosion. The F-150 is the Swiss Army knife of the family, capable of any feat, depending on the version chosen.

Newly arrived, the Ford Maverick is the smallest of the trucks. However, this does not prevent it from being versatile and practical. Its cargo box is shorter, but it is equipped with the Flexbed device that allows it to be fitted in a jiffy.
Under the hood, you can choose between a hybrid engine with combined fuel consumption of 6.3 litres or a powerful 250-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder. Its interior is refined but attractively priced, and while its working capabilities are more limited due to its size, it’s still very capable. The proof is in the pudding: it can tow 4,000 pounds with the right package.

The Ford Ranger has been around for a long time in a small format but has grown since its rebirth a few years ago. The Ford Ranger is distinguished by its massive and athletic silhouette and by its off-road capabilities and driving pleasure.
Its engine develops some 270-horsepower with ease, and off-road packages make it even more adventurous. It doesn’t shy away from work either, as it can tow up to 7,500 pounds.
It also has a unique look, especially with the Splash version available in 2022.

If there are legends in the pickup truck world, the Ford Lightning is one of them. The first full- size pickup to be offered in mass production with a 100% electric engine, the Lightning is making history.
Based directly on the dimensions of the F-150, the Lightning picks up where its brother left off. It can tow up to 10,000 pounds and comes in several more luxurious versions. The highlight, however, is the 131-kWh battery, which gives it a range of up to 515 kilometres between charges.
Add to this all of Ford’s onboard technology, from the SYNC 4 system to the Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and you’ve got a complete, refined and totally eco-friendly pickup.

They’re more often offered to contractors and those with specific towing needs, but Ford’s Super Duty pickups are true athletes in their field.
